was cut on a soda bottel at the neck

I was opening a bottel of safeway go to soda and at the top were the cap and top of the bottel meets
a little peice of plastic was sticking out and when i was taking it off it cut my thumb . this looks like this could be a problem just letting you know so you can look into this
the soda was go 2 cola the # at the top is 15:23 56273 date was 4/8/08
My thumb was cut pertty bad no stiches but i cant bend it thanks for the help hope you can fix this
