By and far most of the employees are pleasant znd helpful, however a growing number of younger men and women especially from other countries have little concern or understanding of good manners and customer relations. (I know its not PC however in my 100's of visits it is accurate) Safeway needs to raise their hiring requirements instead of lowering their standards.
Just to show im not partial to 'American' workers, when i do have a good experience of one of these younger, foriegn individuals, i not only thank and commend them, but go right to the manager what valuable employee they have.
So come on safeway, PLEASE DO YOUR PART when hiring and training.
