I shop here quite often and I always have good experiences. The only thing I dislike about this store is the manager.

He is very rude and unfriendly. He never smiles, his personality just sucks. Every time I am at the service counter, all he says is "can i help you", doesnt even take the time to ask how I am or anything. HE DOESNT EVEN SMILE OR HAVE A FRIENDLY GREETING.

I have seen him treat other customers this way, as well as his employees. Someone needs to get rid of that manager ASAP. Ive overheard some employees speaking of him, he does not seem very nice. This man shouldnt not be working with the public.

He should be a "behind the scenes" type of man. He is a very rude person.

Why do corporations hire people like that who do not belong in a management position? It affects the entire store and it is easy to be nice, why don't they get it? Amazing.

Why should any employee ask you anything other than if they can help you? Most of the people that I know don't care if employees greet us or not.

We are in the business for a reason, not to be social. It never used to be that employees personally greeted people, asked how they were, etc., unless they personally knew the customer, and that usually happened in the really small towns.

Also you shouldn't be eavesdropping on the employees conversations-----it isn't polite. You don't like the manager, get over it or quite shopping at the store.

i agree... maybe he has something else going on, try smiling and saying hello to him first, he may not even be aware he looks so mean. And.if it bothers you that much, shop on his days off or go someplace else.

Yea that say hi to him first *** doesn't work I've seen employees and customers alike be blown off by mike Dunn of Safeway store 1815 in mt airy md I know the employees will be looking for someone to get there pay check for them and he'll go walk right passed them and go somewhere. It's like he's been working for Safeway for so long he thinks he's above the customer service aspect.

He's a pain honestly my friends and I that shop there for our favorite employees cant stand it when he's around. Oh and I've waited in line for coupons that don't work for whatever reason and he will wait till he's the only one left if he needs to give the checker an override, and when he does get there it's like there interrupting his day of what I don't know he seems to just walk around the store all day like a dark cloud that won't leave the employees and customers alone
