As I approached the customer servcice counter, the manager walked from behind the counter, looked at me and said "Just a sec". As he left with another customer, I said sure.
Nine minutes later I am still waiting. I look around the store and see him operating a cash register. OK, maybe the store got busy.I contenued to wait patiently. But as the line emptied, he stayed there.
Then another customer comes up to the register, and the mgr attends to him. I go over to the manager and asked why these peoples time is more valuable than mine. He said it nopt, but his actions were just the opposite. He avoided answering the question two more times, then told me to leave.
I have been a customer there for 8 years. No more.

Please immediately contact the author of this review to discuss poor customer service of safeway staff and associated monetary loss in the amount of $34. Safeway needs to offer any options to resolve the issue according to poster's claims.
