Issue accessing Safeway / Albertsons. As of 02/27/2026 the issue was resolved.
I can now access the website. Mich from Albertsons escalations team contacted me. I contacted Ken Chan @ "MIGHTY PC." Ken is outstanding and helped me resolved the issue.
I unplugged the router and modem for 10 minutes. Plugged back in and the issue was solved.

They had said that they have refunded the money and it's not their fault but it didn't get put back on when I tried to show them the transactions history that it never got put on and that's when they decided to Banner from the store
Now they said it's been refunded but it's been 2 weeks still nothing
Don't even ng your getting your refund. Bget it before you leave the store or you ain't getting at all

Everything was all good except for a couple. Rude employees from when we ask for location. They told us to refer to the app. Then when we get to check out at the self, check out.
We rang everything up and when It's time to pay.We had to use 2 different cards on the first card.It took $61 And we were going to pay the remaining on a different.Come to find out that car has been deMagnetive The\n Cashier came over named Kaden. We told him that he has to manual into the car.
D he said we can't do it there. We have to come Uber to his case, so he's suspended our Are transaction and when he pulls it up on his\nSwipe the card it declined it When he Voided the transaction The money was supposed to go back to card But it did not\n He flat out refused at first to do anything about it until a manager came over, and then he planned it on the financial side that we have to wait 7 to 10 days, McDonald's to get ahold of the store the next day.We did pretty much not going to do anything about it

I purchased two $50 Shell gift cards on October 13 at the Safeway self-checkout in Store 2028, Flagstaff Plaza Way Safeway. The machine malfunctioned, and I didn't get a receipt until a staff member helped print it.
When I tried using the cards at a Shell station right after, both were declined. The next day, my husband and I went to customer service; I tried to explain, but the lady was impatient and said Safeway isn't responsible for sold gift cards, telling us to call the number on the card. We did call; the Shell card support confirmed both cards were never activated and told us to contact Safeway again. My husband went back to Safeway, and the same lady finally agreed to call someone and confirmed both cards weren't activated; they'd process a refund.
It's now been over a week, and we still haven't received anything.
This experience has been very frustrating and time-consuming. Please help resolve this issue quickly and make sure it doesn't happen again.

Mich from Safeway emailed me to try to resolve the issue with not being able to access website. Safeway did contact me via email and attempted to resolve the issue.
I ended up contacting Ken Chan @ "Mighty PC." He and his company are the best.
He gave me SIMPLE instructions on how to resolve the issue. Ken's SIMPLE instructions resolved the isssue.
CS when it comes to the website it is poor. No response and I have called numerous times. I cannot use the website to communicate with them in writing.
I am unable to access the website. 'Pardon our interruption...' 'We are having technical difficulties...' message.
02/13/2026 order groceries online. Since that date, I have not been able to access the website. I am not having issues with other websites, just Safeway. I like shopping at Safeway.
I am a disabled senior citizen. I have done all that I have been told to do to clear my computer of cookies, cache, etc. Nothing has worked.

- - -Fixing this was hard; 25.00 theft and staff attitude.

Trying to correct this was like pulling teeth.
It's not over. Tomorrow will be another day of completing the correct and the horrible attitude of the DUG woman...who reminded me "I have feelings, you know..." her way of ignoring the issue of 25.00 theft.

Woman leaving the Safeway store with a loaded cart of groceries that were not bagged around 5:30 at night not paid for, when I told the manager she asked me what did I want, in a very rude tone of voice. I was very surprised at this response, I told her someone had just left the store with a cart of groceries and she told me there was nothing she could do about it and went about teaching a new employee the register.
I was upset about the way she talked to me so then I left the store without getting my food.
This manager should be fired. Not sure if I will ever shop at Safeway again.

Charged my EBT and then voided the receipt, and I've called, and they said they were refunding me, and it's going on 30 days. You guys took the last of my money, and it's been 45 days, and I haven't received my refund.
I'm pissed and starving.
You guys should compensate me for all this time that I've had to go without eating. $31.65 is what you guys charged me for and then voided, and I never got the refund.

After reaching out to multiple stores and a manager on-site, I finally reported the price discrepancy to DCCA and BBB.
Safeway strikes again! After making a special, very inconvenient trip to take advantage of an advertised deal on bagels, we got there only to be told that it was an error and not being honored!
First, how hard is it to change a digital ad on your own website? Secondly, why should their customers bear the brunt of their mistakes?
Thirdly, fully half the time I go in for a sale either they're out or it's a misprint. Just not worth the time and gas anymore.

Safeway in Lakeport has more crap in the aisles it's difficult to navigate or to find anything. About in-store turkey that I've been purchasing three times a week for 10 years has changed to some to a fatty brand that I will no longer purchase. Yeah, try and get someone's attention at the deli section because they're busy making sandwiches
